Locksmithing is an area in which integrity, competence, professionalism, credentials and trust are of paramount importance. I can't recommend Steve highly enough - what started as an expensive nightmare situation (locked out on a Saturday night) turned into a pleasant experience which saved me money in the long run.
Steve turned up promptly, was extremely personable, friendly and professional. Unlike many locksmiths, he endeavoured to get in without damaging the lock (such as by drilling it) by going in through the letterbox with a handy gadget. This saved me a potential £80 on a new lock. Since he was there I asked him about the chubb lock I had on the door(but did not have a key for and was therefore intending to replace), he recommended a better lock (this one was not industry standard and would not have been up to scratch for insurance purposes) and offered to fit it at no charge other than the cost of the lock, which was extremely reasonable. I agreed so he went to get one from his van, unfortunately he didn't have the right size in stock so offered to come back (no extra call out fee) to fit the lock when he got it in the following week. He duly did this, he did a very neat job and took great care not to scratch the paint work etc., and also to clear up the mess afterwards.
Steve, if ever I need a locksmith again, or know of anyone else who does, I won't hesitate to call. Good Luck with the business plans and the expanding family! Thank you.

The locksmith turned up on time, fixed four locks, had to fix the front door lock (which he actually went and bought!) He was good, efficient and most helpful, and I am happy to recommend this firm to all my friends.

Excellent work. Very reliable. Called them on Sat. evening at 5.45 PM. Could not sort it out for unforeseen circumstances. Came back on Sunday with more more tools and extra expert help. Sorted the problem and charged very reasonably. Will call him again and recommend him to any one who needs a locksmith. Well done Steve and thank you for your patience and understanding.
