This is the modern term used to describe the art of lock picking and opening without damage. NDE is an abbreviation of the term Non-destructive Entry. The majority of locks can be opened without any damage to the door or lock by either picking or bypassing. Sadly this is an art no longer practice by many modern locksmiths. If a locksmith has to drill or damage your lock he will then have the opportunity to sell you a replacement. It is now common practice by some locksmiths to make no attempt to open a lock with anything other than a drill.
At Keyworks the drill is always the last resort and will only be used if all other methods of entry have failed. We cannot guarantee that if you call us to open your door that we will not have to damage your lock to get you in, but we will guarantee that if we do so we will replace your lock like for like free of any further charges.
